Thermal breaks

I couldn't see any thermal breaks in the framing going in and was wondering about it. Luckily I have a brother in the biz, he told me;

That's stick-built curtainwall. You wouldn't see any thermal break in those views...you would have to cut a section. It'll be handled at the pressure-bars holding in the infill. I've scanned an image showing (basically) how that system will work.

So there you have it, in case you had similar worries.
